Breaking News

Mary Jo Kopechne jumps to her feet and eagerly rushes towards the Pearly Gates, just to be the first to point and laugh at Teddy the Swimmer as he is denied entrance.

Teddy Kennedy (D-Inebriation) is rushed to the hospital with stroke-like symptoms, and Susan Estrich is quick to start the eulogizing.

Well, one good thing - if he survives and only loses a major portion of his cognitive function, he’ll still be eligible to hold his Senate seat. After all, Tim Johnson (D-SD) proved that even a breathing vegetable can be a sitting Democratic Senator. (cv Robert Byrd, Harry Reid)

UPDATE: It appears as though he might pull through. I will consider it a “mission kill” if he retires from public life, so that he can’t do any more damage to our country. And who knows? Maybe he will take the remaining days of his life and look for redemption and sincere repentance.

Anything is possible.

In yet another example

of ”What Liberal Media?”, the Editor of the Seattle Times lashes out in defense of Obama.

See, President Bush gave a speech the other day while he was in the Middle East, and he pointed out the inherent idiocy of attempting to appease despots and maniacs. The Media instantly sprang to the attack, with the local NBC affiliate accusing the President of (snort, guffaw) “playing politics”. (First, what is the titular leader of his political party going to be doing for his day-to-day job besides doing political things? And second, what is Obama doing, playing a nice game of tiddly-winks?)

But this moron takes the idiocy to news heights: ”Hitler’s Demands Weren’t Unreasonable”.

Of course, he has since “amended” his statements, trying to keep people from “misinterpreting” him.

As though that statement needed any parsing.

Democrats on Race

No, this isn’t about B. Hussein, it’s about a baffling phenomenon - Blacks in America voting Democrat.

There is not only no good reason to do so, there are LOTS of reasons why not. Outside the Wire has put together an incredible list of historical data, ranging from the 1858 Lincoln-Douglas debates all the way into the mid-1990s.

Next time a Democrat talks about race, feel free to refer them to this list

Obama’s “former” pastor

Says hate-filled statements were “taken out of context”.

Yeah, because I can understand how his assertions that the US Government is responsible for loosing the AIDS virus on Black People could be made better if put in context. And that “chickens coming home to roost” sermon the Sunday following the 9/11 attacks? I’d love to know what kind of context this would need to be less “I Hate America"-fied…

Most enjoyable is the statement where Wright admits that Obamalama is “a politician”, saying what he “needs to say” (wink, wink, nudge, nudge, saynomore), while he says “things of God”. (Funny, I don’t remember AIDS appearing in the Bible anywhere, no matter which version I check. Maybe he’s using Nancy Pelosi’s favorite version.)

By The Company You Keep

Y’know, we haven’t yet spoken of the really important political endorsements this silly political nomination season - those of the world’s terrorist organizations.

In ‘04, John Kerry was the “allegedly unhappy” recipient of that nomination, because of his willingness to work with the UN.

But who wins the coveted nod this year?

None other than His Homliness, the Dope. Barack Hussein Mohammed Hussein Obama. (Just to piss him off in case he stops by.)

I’m not kidding.

Hamas, Fidel Castro, FARC, The New Black Panthers, William Ayers (of the Weather Underground), Daniel Ortega, Hugo Chavez, “Hanoi” Jane Fonda, DailyKos, Democratic Underground, Jeremiah “God Damn America” Wright and almost the entire MSM establishment…

Throw in his willingness to raise taxes even higher than they are ("what do you mean ‘cut spending’? You’re nucking futs!"), and no wonder the far Left is pushing for him. I mean when you have people calling Hillary Clinton a neocon, you know that they are far to the Left of anything mainstream…

Political Correctness: Republicans Are Killing Blacks

Sigh.

Steve H. manages to cite almost every case of black paranoia brought up by Obama supporters. And I bet most of them are white.

Troofers for Obama

"Birds of a feather”

“Known by the company you keep”

Great minds think alike” (If this is true, than the inverse is likely true, as well)

From a community blog supporting the Great Emaciator (that was not a typo) comes this glimpse into what passes for a mind among the Troofers.

The corporate media’s insistence on ignoring hundreds of professional experts who are calling for a new 9/11 investigation has spurred many celebrities to use their public platforms to speak out, knowing that the press will at least have to address the issue.

The latest to do so is top comedian Margaret Cho, (ed. note - “top comedian”? tongue rolleye ) who told the Alex Jones Show yesterday that the public were going to become very angry when it was fully disclosed that the attacks were a conspiracy, concurring with fellow comedian George Carlin who also questioned the official story last year.

The path was trailblazed by Charlie Sheen in March 2006 when he spoke of his doubts about the official story and questioned the collapse of WTC Building 7. Sheen was endlessly smeared for weeks after but he prompted a national debate about 9/11 and the 9/11 Truth Movement enjoyed what many consider to be its most productive year.

In September 2006, former Governor, actor and wrestling star Jesse Ventura questioned 9/11 during an on-camera interview with Alex Jones and also cited Operation Northwoods and the Gulf of Tonkin as examples of how the government has planned and carried out staged war provocations in the past.

In July 2007, popular film maker Michael Moore told WeAreChange.org reporters that he had many more questions about 9/11 than at the time of making Fahrenheit 9/11 and did not believe the public had been told “half the truth” about what really happened.

Martin Sheen echoed his son’s comments in October 2007 along with rising actor Mark Ruffalo, following in the footsteps of Rosie O’Donnell, who caused shockwaves when she brought 9/11 truth to national prominence during her stint as The View host.

The View was also used as a platform for actor James Brolin to raise 9/11 truth, who questioned the official version of events in the same week that acclaimed director David Lynch spoke out.

So we have “top comedian” Margaret Cho, Charlie Sheen, Martin Sheen, Jesse “The Body” Ventura, Michael Moore, Rosie “Fire can’t possibly melt steel” O’Donnell, Mark Ruffalo and Mr. Barbra Streisand all saying that it was an inside job. (Of course, with all of those structural engineering degrees among them, I would be happy to take their word for it. Wait, you mean...?*) Meanwhile, the facts clearly speak to the contrary.

* I looked those people up, just to see how qualified they are in those innately-acquired skills of structural integrity of specified building materials, fire sciences, physical engineering, insulation, demolition and high explosives.

  • James Brolin - dropped out of UCLA in his freshman year
  • “Top Comedian” Margaret Cho - Kicked out of Lowell High School because of a 0.60 GPA (D-minus), later accepted to McAteer High School for the Performing Arts
  • Rosie O’Donnell - dropped out of Boston U after one year
  • Charlie Sheen - kicked out of High School just before graduation; followed by multiple convictions (drug abuse, domestic violence)
  • Martin Sheen - Purposely flunked his college entrance exam to the University of Dayton
  • Jesse Ventura - High School graduate and Navy SEAL.
  • Mark Ruffalo - took six years to graduate a three-year drama school
  • Michael Moore - dropped out of University of Michigan, Flint, MI after a few weeks

Make of that what you will.

Meanwhile....

Racists and Troofers and Losers, Oh, my!

The 2008 Democratic nomination process

Better swallow first. I’m specifically refusing any claims for ruined keyboards and/or monitors.

Posted by Drumwaster at 04:52 AM |

More, please. And faster

Via Emperor Misha (linked via Rachel Lucas) comes this tale of a young and energetic Hildebeest (back before she was having such trouble sleeping that she couldn’t remember the facts).

Seems that one of Hillary’s claims to “experience” was as a 27-year-old staffer for the House committee investigating Impeachment charges against then-President Richard Nixon.

But let me just tease you with this snippet:

Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat, supervised the work of 27-year-old Hillary Rodham on the committee. Hillary got a job working on the investigation at the behest of her former law professor, Burke Marshall, who was also Sen. Ted Kennedy’s chief counsel in the Chappaquiddick affair. When the investigation was over, Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation – one of only three people who earned that dubious distinction in Zeifman’s 17-year career.

Why?

“Because she was a liar,” Zeifman said in an interview last week. “She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.”

Emphasis mine.

So what did she do that was so bad?

Go and read.

So the Dems will either put up Hillary (named after Sir Edmund Hillary, don’t you know*) or B. Hussein - despite the clear problems that both of them have, and a hefty chunk of the more fervent fans of both Hillary and Obama has claimed that they would rather vote for McCain than the other Democrat, and yet people are STILL telling me that a choice to not vote for McAmnesty is a vote for Obama (ignoring the obvious question: “what if he’s not the nominee?").

This is gonna be fun. More please. And hurry it up!

* - Yes, I know that claim is false, but that fact didn’t stop her from actually saying it, did it?

Wow. Just… wow

I found this clip over at Ace’s HQ, and it is possibly the most incisive dissection of the Liberal mindset I have ever seen.

Watch it. Save it. Learn it.

“Anything other than indiscriminiteness is the evil of having discriminated.”

Evan Sayet is a conservative writer and producer, and clearly someone who has given this a great deal of careful thought. It’s kinda long (about 50 mins), but take the time to watch the whole thing. You’ll thank me later.

Well worth a read

From the Four Wackos comes this Black woman‘s demand for an apology and remuneration.  tongue rolleye

No, wait, now… She wants that apology and reparations from (wait for it...)

From the Democratic Party.  gulp

Hie thee forth.

“We, African American citizens of the United States, declare and assert:

Whereas in the early 1600’s 20 African men and women were landed in Virginia from a Dutch ship as slaves and from that tiny seed grew the poisoned fruit of plantation slavery which shaped the course of American development,

Whereas reconciliation and healing always begin with an apology and an effort to repay those who have been wronged,

Whereas the Democratic Party has never apologized for their horrific atrocities and racist practices committed against African Americans during the past two hundred years, nor for the residual impact that those atrocities and practices and current soft bigotry of low expectations are having on us today,

Whereas the Democratic Party fought to expand slavery and, after the Civil War, established Jim Crow Laws, Black Codes and other repressive legislation that were designed to disenfranchise African Americans,

Whereas the Ku Klux Klan was the terrorist arm of the Democratic Party, and their primary goal was to intimidate and terrorize African American voters, Republicans who moved South to protect African Americans and any other whites who supported them,

Whereas, according to leading historians (both black and white), the horrific atrocities committed against African Americans during slavery and Reconstruction were financed, sponsored, and promoted by the Democratic Party and their Ku Klux Klan supporters,

Whereas from 1870 to 1930, in an effort to deny African Americans their civil rights and to keep African Americans from voting Republican, thousands of African Americans were shot, beaten, lynched, mutilated, and burned to death by Ku Klux Klan terrorists from the Democratic Party,

Whereas Democratic Presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt and Harry Truman rejected anti-lynching laws and efforts to establish a permanent Civil Rights Commission,

smirk

It only keeps getting better

(Cries of “racism” to appear from the Loony left in 3… 2… 1… )

Quick bio from her page reads: “I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and retired from the Army in 1984 after 20 years of active service. I received a Bachelor of Science degree from Drury College in 1973, a Masters of Business Administration from Golden Gate University in 1976, and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of California, Hastings College of Law in 1977. I became politically active in 1982 and served as a member of President Ronald Reagan’s Private Sector Initiatives Task Force. I worked as a volunteer in the campaigns of Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, and George W. Bush, as well as Governor Jeb Bush. I am a co-founder of the SaraMana Black Republican Club. I am also a member of the Executive Committee of the Republican Party of Sarasota County. Most recently, I became Chairman of the National Black Republican Association, an organization that is committed to returning African Americans to their Republican Party roots. Among the awards I have received during my military career are the Legion of Merit, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Joint Defense Service Medal and four Army Commendation Medals.” Emphasis mine.

A black female conservative Republican? I think she is more qualified than a certain Senator I could think of… (Take that however you wish.)

McCain v. Obama v. Clinton, Part II

Barry’s take.

Barry over at Cynical Nation has a great analysis about the current standoff. He believes, in opposition to my theory, that Barack Hussein Obama would be easily to beat than Hillary Clinton. My logic is surviving on the fact that Hillary is disliked by both liberals and conservatives to such an extent that McCain would win by default if he had no pulse and wanted to blow up the moon. Barry believes that Obama’s five minutes of fame are going to end and come crashing down sometime within the next few months.

Either way you fall in the debate, check out Barry’s post when you get a chance.

Andrew Sullivan: I Heart Barack Obama

More proof of my theory.

I’ve held a theory for a while that if you a conservative and you plan to vote for Barack Hussein Obama, then you’re really not a conservative. It looks like a man I really don’t like at all, Andrew Sullivan, has a crush on Barack Obama. Proof once again that my theories about him have all come to be true.

I don’t like Andrew Sullivan. He throws fits, he considers you to be wrong to the most extreme degree if you do not agree with him, he bitches about Bush like a true member of the Bush Derangement Syndrome Society, and he wears disposable diapers.

Okay, the last part might not be true, but I’m willing to bet that it might be.

NOTE: JimK’s brilliant post led to this one. Word up, Jimster.
