*BANGING HEAD AGAINST TABLE*
WHY? WHY!!!
Are these people just that stupid?
See.....this is what happens when people are more worried about getting elected than they are protecting the nation.
ANWR is ours, there’s oil there, and we want to get away from the use of oil from Fascists, like the leaches in Saudi and in Venezuela. But, these guys don’t want the 3-year old (environmentalist) in the corner screeching and screaming...it might make them look bad to the other people in the room.
GIVE ME A F’N BREAK!
Grow some balls, screw the people concerned about the damned .03% of the reserve you’r have your operations on, and GET THE FRIGGIN’ OIL FROM THE GROUND! Quit worrying about the socialist-environmentalist. They don’t CARE about the environment...they kill dogs and cats themselves. They just don’t want AMERICA drilling for oil!!
And you moderates and pantywaists just did their work for them. Good F-CKING JOB!! Don’t bitch about the oil companies anymore, or the price of oil.
And when your constituents (only .5% are rabid enviro-socialists) call and complain about the cost of heating oil, I wonder if you’ll have the damned balls to tell them that you voted against drilling in ANWR because it might hurt the polar bears and caribou.
Moderates suck. Vote for some conservatives, people. Not these CINO’s that are in there on our dime.
UPDATE: And, I wrote a letter to Mr. Hastert:
“With all due respect....what’s going on in the House?
Why, in a time of conflict with the Middle East and a period of dictatorship in Venezuela, are we stopping ourselves from tapping into a known oil supply?
That’s nonsensical, Mr. Speaker!
ANWR is in America, the oil is in America, and because of 1% of the population’s trouble with any type of oil drilling and extraction, we can’t use that oil.
Since when have the representatives in the House been more concerned about screeching enviro-socialists than American energy independence?
It is fitting that this decision is sandwiched between the grilling of oil executives who are legally making a profit, and the birthday of the Marine Corps. Oil companies who are operating a business, and Marines who are right now fighting in the Middle East...an area of the world that is made strategically important because of the oil there.
I am very disappointed....no more money for the GOP from me. And I’m going to send this out via the blog I write on, and the blogs that will link to it, that no-one should donate to a Party that we conservatives supported for years, only to see it stoop to this pandering and foolishness.
Grow a backbone, tell the infantile enviromentalists to deal with it, and GET THAT OIL!”
I’m an independent....I don’t belong to either political party, but I have always leaned towards the Republicans. This pisses me right the hell off. I am asking that all of you reading this e-mail your reps and tell them that they will be getting no more donations until they grow a set and stop pandering to these envirosocialists. Tell the people calling you from the GOP that your pocketbook is empty until they figure out that our national interests are not served by being pansies in the face of screaming green fanatics.
As Michelle Malkin says, “Ugh.”
Comments
I think we should hold a quick poll.
“How many of you have been to the area of ANWR under discussion? By applause...” {crickets chirping}
“Okay, how many of you use oil or gas?”
‘Nuff said.
Hey, Kilroy...it isn’t about the oil companies...it about the plan truth that oil is still a strategic resource. If there was no oil there, would we be there? Would there be a strategic interest?
It’s not the amount, it’s the percentage. Where are the screams about Microsoft’s 20% profits?
Oil is running less than 10%.
If politicians want to cut the prices at the pumps, let them cut the gas taxes (which make up roughly 20-40% of the pump price) rather than outlawing profits…
Lord...I’m tired.....
My point is that we are fighting over there because there is a national strategic interest....it is why we are there in force, and not in the Sudan. It’s oil, but not the oil companies. If we had a national oil consortium, it would be the same.
My point is that we have oil HERE.....we ought to have the testicular fortitude to pull it from OUR ground, and not bow to the 1% or less that is crying about it.
Nah....City contract took Vet’s Day away from us a few years ago...gave us our birthday and MLK Day instead.
