Cindy Sheehan….
...What a damned joke she is. And a pathetic one at that.
Can I ask you a question? Really, I just want to know....what is it with her?
Know what? This reminds me of Nick Berg’s dad....remember when he came out and started preaching about his joining International ANSWER? Isn’t this similar?
I say that because this ‘grieving mother’ is also linked up with several leftist groups. Take a look at the links from her website, and who she supports. Many of these groups have representation in the group United for Peace and Justice, and with the Communist Party in the United States. You can read about that here.
So does International ANSWER, which is a well documented front for the World Workers Party....another communist organization.
Why aren’t more people figuring this out? She supports people that support the people in Iraq that killed her son.
However, she does not care....for, see, this isn’t about Casey, her 24-year old adult son who died a hero after re-enlisting in order to serve his country in Iraq. This about her, and her pain, and her hatred, and her politics.
She has found an audience....a sympathetic media, a frenzied and frustrated protest culture, and anti-captialist and anti-American groups....to preach to, and they hang on her every word. They sympathize with her, support her, and bolster her warped world view. That influence can be evidenced by her calls for Israel to get out of Palestine....what in the hell does that have to do with oil? Isn’t that one of the reasons she says her son was killed? Oil? Where is the oil in Israel?
But....I have already talked about Israel and Palestine.... This is just an echo of the people that support Cindy...this is an emotional quid pro quo, if you will....she tows their line, they give her the crutch of their support. However, just like Lee at Right Thinking said, this is going to be quite transient....and these helping hands that are clutching at Cindy Sheehan will disappear as a new victim comes along. Her time is inherently limited.
And...what about her, Cindy Sheehan? I think she’s either neurotic, or a very selfish and myopic individual. She is pimping her son’s death, and going against his obvious wishes and feelings, to promote herself and her beliefs. Anyone that believes that this is about Casey is wrong. Sorry, but they are.
And so is she.
She is a prime example of the anti-war, Vietnamized Baby Boomers that I have spoken about in the past. Her emotions have ripped her family apart, caused her to change her story about Bush in order to further her own interests, and offer the memory of her son to the socialists and anti-war Left as a sacrifice. I would have sympathy for her.....for her hurt and loss...but I can’t find it. I am sorry for that, but I can’t find it. She is Nick Berg’s dad....and, maybe worse, since her son was such a real hero.
She’s destructive, immoral, hypocritical, and a good example of what is wrong with the anti-war movement. Let them have her as a hero, for, like her, their worldview is festering and doomed.

She has the right to be upset just as the mothers of WWII had the right to be upset at their loss. Either way you look at it the “Peace Protestors” and the terrorists have one goal. That goal it to get the United States out of Iraq and Afghanistan and Israel out of “Palestine".” (Emphasis added)
